a half year. This year our garden has grown and bloomed. We took part in City In Bloom Award 2016 organized by NPark. We have obtained a Silver Band Award. The award is sufficient motivation for us to do better.

In conjunction with the Singapore Garden Festival, NPark has also encouraged us to set up a booth at Garden by the Bay to share our experiences and learn from other participants. We took the initiative to let our children be the Ambassadors. They were accompanied by their parents and our teachers. The parent-child team manned the booth together with our teachers on 29 July 2016 from 12.45pm to 3.45pm, the time slot assigned by the organizer. The response from parents was positive.

We have 6 pairs of Parent-child teams: Adison Lu, Gabriel Wei Yang Roux, Jiyan, Ethan Chia, Jaden and Hong Jun. Our little Ambassadors were busy explaining to visitor the types of seedlings for distribution, the refreshing drink of Blue Pea and the process of making our compost for Living Garden. Parents too were busy assisting their children. They were delighted to see that our Ambassadors conversed in Mandarin confidently at the booth.
